Fabricated in high volume, pure CMOS process for lowest cost  

The NT24L73 is a limiting post amplifier fabricated in pure CMOS for fiber optic transceiver applications. The NT24L73 features CML outputs that are AC coupled to the proceeding circuitry. Powered from a single +3.0 V to 5.5 V power supply, the NT24L73 represents the lowest cost and lowest power limiting amplifier solution for optical network applications.

The NT24L73 incorporates a data output squelch function, a glitchFree SD function with tunable detection threshold.

The NT24L73 is packaged in a 10-pin MSOP package and is pin compatible with the Micrel SY88993V and Maxim MAX3747. This makes the NT24L73 ideal for cost reduction exercises where an extremely low cost, modern CMOS solution is required in a familiar package format.
