Nanotech Semiconductor seeks highly motivated, experienced individuals to join an exciting, innovative pre-IPO fabless semiconductor company involved in developing high speed analog and mixed signal ICs for the automotive, communications and consumer markets.
Nanotech offers competitive salaries, the opportunity to be part of a successful, highly motivated team producing innovative products, and the right candidates will appreciate the chance to have a meaningful stake in the business, offering substantial capital gains, at the most favorable tax rates ... |

IC Design/Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineer
The successful candidate will have had experience of mixed-signal IC design (preferably CMOS and/or BiCMOS) and be able to work with a design team to define/specify design for test features of a new product. He/she will have worked with DFT before in a product engineering/test/design role. Preferred experience with RF, high speed, or fibre-optic components. Successful candidate will apply DFT skills/knowledge by working within a design team to specify features (special "logic", special test modes, etc) to be added to design for DFT. These features allow design to be more easily tested and manufactured (added test capability, lower cost manufacturability).
The role would also require some IC design work and be able to work with Test and Manufacturing groups for collecting/using data collected at many of the manufacturing test points and "analyzing" these to find the causes of behaviors and deviations of concern. Also, to correlate wafer fab manufacturing process to end results (product yield, speed performance, etc).
The candidate should also be familiar with Failure Analysis and be capable of Isolating causes of "failure" and have knowledge/experience in device physics and device reliability (including reliability tests: biased humidity, ESD, and latchup). |

Evaluation / Applications Engineer ( Bristol based)
Working closely with our design team and customers the applications engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to both internal and external customers, designing evaluation and reference platforms for the company's IC's and providing the necessary technical expertise to enable design wins.
Evaluating new product designs, developing test methodologies; writing technical reports, applications notes, and technical sales material. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background ideally with experience of high speed/optical communications. Alternatively, candidates with GHz RF applications and PCB design experience will be considered. |

- Surface mount assembly of PCB boards, following test specifications for the set-up and testing of Nanotech evaluation boards
- Running characterization test software suites.
- General laboratory management, maintaining component stocks and ordering spares.
- Management of equipment calibration and the testing of Nanotech IC's during reliability testing.
Candidates must possess ONC/OND/TEC Level III / HNC or equivalent in electronics or related discipline.
Experience is not as important as the right attitude: determination to succeed, flexibility, willingness to learn and wanting to be part of the team! |
