After graduating from College in 1992, Carol joined Jeritronics, a Taiwanese electronic component distributor. Carol spent 7 years in Sales and then in 1999 became Product Line Manager for Microcosm Communications Ltd. Following the acquisition of Microcosm by Connexant/Mindspeed in 2000/1 Carol left Jeritronics and joined the Mindspeed Sales Office in Taiwan where she added responsibility for the office & finance to her sales tasks.

Taiwan is a key market for optical transceiver design and manufacturing and hence an extremely important market for Nanotech. Steve Cliffe, VP Sales & marketing, commented: "Carol has spent over 15 years in the electronics industry in Taiwan and has a thorough understanding and knowledge of the Opto markets, products and customers which will be extremely valuable to us".
